Last episode, the Lore was found to be just where it is supposed to be. That is because the Lore just Is.
The Pyramids are a great place for Lore. Matter of fact the Pyramids are Lore Central.
The Pyramids are old, really old.
They are really Big. And very advanced for their age.
We do not know how they were built.
We do not really know who built them.
There is a lot of history around them and a lot of political shenanigans around them.
Therefore: Lots of Lore. Lots and lots of Lore.
Now I guess you may really want to know what is the definition of Lore?
The Lore is the Truth that only a few may know. Its what really happened and why and by whom. It may not be in any history books. It may not be in any arcane new agey books. It may not even be any book at all. But someone knows or someone may have known and therefore it is Lore.

I Fought the Lore and the Lore Won
The Lore is somewhat like history but is generally not found in history books. It is more likely past down, generation by generation, mouth to ear verbally. The Lore wins over history since history is written by those in power at the time. Whereas, the Lore transcends historical documentation by the very fact that it is not written, it is simply held.
Lore also transcends time. It is not really important when Lore happened or who made Lore happen or why Lore happened. Lore just is Lore. Now Lore is often times prefixed by the word "ancient". We often hear the phrase "the ancient lore" of such and such. Now this is not to be confused with "the law of the land." Law is not Lore. They are actually pronounced slightly differently.
